  "abstract": "Blip World (https://blip.world) is a new company, launched in 2023, that is attempting to disrupt the nicotine cessation aid market with new nicotine replacement products designed to appeal to the young adult population. A notable difference in Blip World’s products compared with other US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs) is its prominent social media presence, colourful packaging and use of young models to promote their products.1 2 Many young adults want to quit smoking cigarettes3 4 and vaping nicotine,3–5 and Blip World products may have the potential to be a welcome addition to the cessation aid landscape by providing NRTs marketed to a younger population in need of better support in quitting vaping. However, an investigation of its official FDA approval as an NRT is further warranted to determine if it is a registered cessation aid to ensure the public is properly informed about their available options for smoking and vaping cessation.",
