"abstract": "Introduction The Interstitial Lung Disease Interdisciplinary Network (ILD-IN) is a collaborative network for healthcare professionals of all disciplines caring for people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Collaboration and partnership of organisations, including patient advocate charity, professional healthcare organisations and industries such as pharmaceutical, technology and legal, is key to achieving best patient outcomes in ILD. In January 2024, the ILD-IN set up quarterly meetings with partner organisations to share initiatives and work together, e.g. on co-producing patient resources.Aims To evaluate ILD-IN partners’ perceptions on the impact of collaboration with the ILD-IN on the following domains: influence and practice in ILD care, knowledge and skills sharing and improvements in ILD service provision and pathways. Methods Data was collected via anonymous surveys and analysed in themes via descriptive statistics and free text thematic analysis. Results Nine responses were received. Eight partners (88.8%) reported satisfaction from partnership with ILD-IN. All partners reported a positive impact on patient resource development. Key areas to align goals included education for healthcare professionals (8/9, 88.8%), education for patients and carers (7/9, 77.7%). Areas for improvement included opportunities for partner organisations to participate in activities, e.g. public involvement, teaching and policymaking. Conclusion The ILD partners collaboration and partnership has the potential to promote best practice, support service and guideline development, support policy-making and research collaboration for people with ILD.",
