  "abstract": "Introduction and Objectives Treatment goals for severe asthma include disease remission. In the phase 3 NAVIGATOR study in severe uncontrolled asthma ( NCT03347279), 28.5% of tezepelumab recipients achieved on-treatment clinical remission over weeks 0–52 (placebo, 21.9%). In the phase 3b WAYFINDER study in OCS-dependent severe asthma (NCT05274815), OCS discontinuation without loss of asthma control was achieved by 32.2% of tezepelumab recipients at week 28 and 50.3% at week 52. This post hoc analysis assessed the proportion of WAYFINDER participants who achieved on-treatment clinical remission at weeks 28 and 52.Methods WAYFINDER was an open-label, single-arm, OCS-sparing study in adults with severe asthma on maintenance OCS (mOCS). Patients received tezepelumab 210 mg subcutaneously every 4 weeks for 52 weeks. Clinical remission was defined as an Asthma Control Questionnaire-6 score <1.5, a post-bronchodilator forced expiratory volume in 1 second ≥95% of baseline and no use of mOCS at the end of the time period and no exacerbations over the time period.Results Overall, 298 patients received tezepelumab.
