  "abstract": "Screening and treatment of pharyngeal Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) infections are recommended in high-risk populations, as this common site of colonisation serves as an asymptomatic reservoir for transmission1 and facilitates antibiotic resistance.2 Guidelines recommend treatment guided by antibiotic susceptibility testing results, as well as a test of cure (TOC) 14 days after treatment in specific situations.3",
