  "abstract": "Pasteurella bettyae is suggested as an emerging sexually transmitted pathogen in men who have sex with men. We analysed 25 cases, revealing a wider distribution and frequent concomitant infections. Our findings challenge its primary pathogenic role, suggesting it may act as an opportunistic coloniser.",
