  "abstract": "Prior studies among adolescents undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) have focused on acute pain management and functional recovery, including regional anesthesia utilization trends and time to sports participation. 1 2 Chronic pain, defined as surgical site pain present for three or more months after surgery, is associated with substantial morbidity; incidence estimates range from 5% to 16% among ACLR patients, although definitions differ between studies with variable response rates.2–5",
