"abstract": "We have read Julio Orrego et al’s letter1 and are grateful for their interest and feedback on our article.2 They highlighted a potential misinterpretation of our study results, particularly regarding the absence of a statistically significant difference in analgesic effects between the two groups. During the sample size calculation stage, we hypothesized a difference of 1 point on the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), with a SD of 1.5. However, the actual reduction in pain scores was 2.9±2.5 and 3.1±2.4 in the supra-inguinal fascia iliaca compartment block (SIFICB) and pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block group, respectively (p=0.75). This result does not justify asserting that the effects of the two blocks are statistically equivalent; rather, it should be interpreted as our study’s inability to detect a significant difference between the two blocks. Therefore, we agree with some of the concerns raised by Julio Orrego et al.",
