  "abstract": "We read with interest the retrospective study by D’Souza and colleagues in which the authors claimed no difference between the trial-to-permanent (TTP) or direct-to-permanent (DTP) strategy for implantation of peripheral nerve stimulation devices in localized chronic neuropathic pain.1 The mean±SD percentage of reduction in the pain score at 6 months, a primary outcome measure, was 56.7%±27.9% vs 45.1%±33.6% for the TTP or DTP approach, respectively,1 which we believe could be clinically meaningful.",
