  "abstract": "We appreciate the interest shown by Yoshida and Nakamoto1 in our anatomical study on the obturator nerve block at the obturator canal.2 We fully agree on the importance of a standardized nomenclature in regional anesthesia, as proposed by the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine–European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ASRA–ESRA) Delphi consensus.3 However, in the context of anatomical research, we believe that the term ‘obturator canal block’ more accurately reflects the anatomical site studied than a purely terminological formulation.",
