"abstract": "Revision total hip and knee arthroplasties (THA and TKA) are increasing, 1 often due to periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) for which anesthesia care pathways vary greatly.2 Neuraxial anesthesia (NA) may offer advantages in select patients, but its role in revision procedures remains poorly defined. Considering growing interest in individualized perioperative care, we examined 10-year unadjusted trends in NA use among THA/TKA, stratified by PJI status, and modeled the association between PJI and NA utilization, adjusting for patient and hospital characteristics.",
