  "abstract": "Induction of anesthesia in patients with aortic stenosis (AS) carries the risk of precipitous hypotension, which can lead to coronary hypoperfusion, cardiac ischemia, and cardiac arrest. 1 Historically, spinal anesthesia (SA) has been considered contraindicated in patients with AS, due to the risk of SA-induced sympathetic block and hypotension.2 However, no studies are available to inform clinical practice on the risk of SA in patients with AS. In our practice, low-dose, isobaric SA is often used in AS patients having lower limb surgery. In this retrospective research report, we share our experience with the effects of SA on hemodynamics in and perioperative outcomes in patients with AS.",
