  "abstract": "Introduction Recent data of Flow Diverter (FD) aneurysm treatment showed that advanced age seems to be consistently associated with aneurysm persistence across studies.Aim of study This study aims to evaluate the association of patient characteristics, and aneurysm details with aneurysm persistence (Raymond-Roy occlusion classifications [RROC III]), at 6-, 12-, and 24-month follow-up (FU).Method The INSPIRE-A registry is a prospective, single arm study of brain aneurysms treated with commercially available Medtronic devices, including latest FD technology with surface modifications. The registry collects data from 70 centers in 21 countries. Results are adjudicated by an independent Imaging Core Laboratory and a Clinical Events Committee. Available data was analyzed using descriptive and multivariable statistics.Results 953 patients were analyzed. The median age was 56 years (IQR, 47–65) and 78.4% (747) were female. Most frequently, aneurysms were in the anterior circulation (89.4%, 835). Median diameter and neck width of aneurysms were 8 mm (IQR, 5–12) and 7 mm (IQR, 4–11), respectively. 91.2% (855) of aneurysms were saccular. Multivariable logistic regression analysis of aneurysm persistence showed that age was consistently associated with aneurysm persistence at different FU time points (6-month: OR, 1.02, 95% CI, 1.01–1.04, p<0.001; 12-month: 1.02, 95% CI, 1.01–1.05, p<0.001; 24-month: 1.02, 95% CI, 1.0–1.05, p<0.001; figure 1).Abstract A170 Figure 1Conclusion This large, homogenous, and independently adjudicated data set suggests that advanced age is consistently associated with aneurysm persistence after treatment with surface-modified FD for intracranial aneurysms across all time points of follow-up.Conflict of Interest Yes L Meyer reports compensation from Eppdata GmbH for consultant services.",
