  "abstract": "Introduction As mechanical thrombectomy (MT) techniques have advanced, the efficiency with which these procedures can be performed has also increased. Use of different devices may affect such efficiency, which can be measured in both procedural time metrics and radiation exposure data.Aim of Study This analysis examines procedural lengths and radiation exposure data, comparing the Route 92 0.088’ Monopoint system to contact aspiration (CA) with previously available 0.060–0.072’ devices or combination stentriever/aspiration (SA) MT for ICA terminus or M1 large vessel occlusion (LVO).Method Demographic, clinical, and MT details were noted. Patients treated with first-line technique using the 0.088’ Monopoint system were identified. Patients treated with first-line CA or SA were also identified, excluding patients requiring rescue/bailout therapy or undergoing MT not within the three cohorts. First pass and final pass times were noted. Fluoroscopy time, dose-area product (DAP), and radiation dose were noted.Results 77 Monopoint, 32 CA, and 42 SA cases met inclusion criteria. Time to first pass was shortest with Monopoint (p<0.001), as was time to final pass (p<0.001). Monopoint had shorter fluoroscopy time than SA (p<0.001) but not CA (p=0.835). DAP was lowest for Monopoint (p<0.001), as was radiation dose (p<0.001).Conclusion MT had shorter procedural times with Monopoint compared to CA and SA. Fluoroscopy times were comparable between Monopoint and CA. DAP and radiation dose were lowest in the Monopoint group compared to the two other groups. Monopoint technique showed superior final eTICI 2c/3 rates and a trend toward and higher FPE compared to the other techniques.Conflict of Interest Yes Route 92 Medical consulting and equity (JE, MA, WK, FS)",
