  "abstract": "Objectives This systematic review aimed to synthesize and evaluate nurse-led interventions for adults with SLE and their impact on health outcomes.Methods A systematic literature search was conducted in CINAHL, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Trip Database, and Cochrane Library for studies published between 2014 and 2024. Eligible studies included adults with SLE who received interventions delivered or co-delivered by nurses and reported patient-related outcomes.Results Twenty studies were included, encompassing randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental and observational designs. Interventions were regrouped into therapeutic education and self-management support, psychological and psychoeducational programs, and lifestyle-focused strategies. Delivery modalities included face-to-face sessions, group workshops, printed and digital materials, and telephone follow-up. Nurse-led interventions were consistently associated with improvements in health-related quality of life, patient knowledge, and self-efficacy, with additional benefits observed for fatigue, anxiety, and disease activity control. Ongoing nurse–patient contact enabled early detection of changes in disease status, reinforcement of self-care strategies, and targeted psychosocial support.Conclusions These findings highlight the pivotal and multifaceted role of nurses in the care of adults with SLE and support the integration of structured nurse-led interventions into routine clinical practice. Standardizing intervention components and evaluating their long-term effectiveness should be priorities for future research. At the end of this presentation, participants will know the roles that nurses must play for supporting and accompanying people with lupus.",
