"abstract": "Introduction Juvenile systemic scleroderma (jSSc) is a rare multisystem autoimmune disease, that can present with a variety of clinical manifestations, including, among others, skin fibrosis, Raynaud phenomenon, and progressive impairment of fine motor function. Functional limitations of the hands significantly affect the independence of pediatric patients. Evidence on the effectiveness of rehabilitation interventions is limited, and traditional physiotherapy approaches are often difficult to measure objectively due to the lack of standardized tools or evaluating therapy outcomes.Material and Methods The aim of this case study was to verify the applicability of an innovative technology, the MediTutor robotic glove, for objective monitoring and assessment of hand function in pediatric patient with jSSc. MediTutor enables detailed recording of the speed and range of finger movements, providing immediate feedback to both the patient and the therapist. The rehabilitation program combined classical physiotherapy techniques (thermotherapy, stratching, joint mobilization) with playful sensorimotor exercises. The evaluation was conducted primarily using MediTutor, supplemented with dynamometry and standardized hand mobility tests. Results During therapy, the MediTutor data showed clear changes: an increase in movement speed, an expansion of the range of flexion and extension of individual fingers and the wrist, and improved coordination. These results were consistent with the increase in grip strength measured by dynamometry and with the patient´s subjective assessment, who reported greater independence in ADLs. The robotic glove not only enabled objective quantification of progress but also served as a motivational tool thanks to its interactive and playful environment. Conclusions The MediTutor robotic system proved to be a key innovative tool for rehabilitation of fine hand motor skills in child with jSSc. Its ability to precisely monitor movement parameters and provide immediate feedback surpasses the limitations of conventional clinical tests. The case study suggests that integrating robotic technologies into pediatric physiotherapy may significantly enhance not only objective measurement but also patient motivation and adherence to therapy. MediTutor represents a promising approach to individualized and measurable rehabilitation in rare diseases.Abstract P.328 Figure 1",
