"abstract": "Introduction Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) is a chronic condition which impacts negatively on quality of life (QoL). Finding factors associated with QoL in SSc patients is of utmost importance to improve strategies of medical care in these patients; however, we do not have previous reports in Latin American region .Objective: To determine associated factors with QoL in a Peruvian single center of SSc cohort.Material and Methods A cross-sectional analysis of our single center Peruvian SSc cohort between November 2023 to August 2025. Patients with SSc diagnosis according to the 2013 ACR-EULAR criteria, at least 16 years who signed an inform consent are included in the cohort; exclusion criteria are overlapping with other autoimmune diseases, current infections, and pregnancy. Medical interviews, clinical assessment, laboratory and medical charts reviews are performed in biannual visits. For the present analysis the Systemic Sclerosis Questionnaire (SySQ) was used to determine QoL. Potential associated factors with QoL considered were age, gender, socioeconomic level (by Graffar questionnaire), education, marital status, diagnosis delay, disease duration, Raynaud, dysphagia, arthritis , tendon friction rubs, Rodnan-modified skin score (RMSS), status of digital ulcers (DUCAS score), presence of Interstitial Lung disease (ILD), presence of dyspnea (by any mMRC score higher than 0), fatigue (FACIT-F questionnaire), hand disability (Cochin questionnaire), depression (PHQ-9 questionnaire), c-DMARDS and b-ts DMARDs use. A univariable and then multivariable regression lineal analysis was performed to determine persistence of associated factors. Results Seventy-four patients were included in the cohort; 63 patients (85.14%) were woman, age was 54.93 (2.09) years. The SySQ was 0.78 (0.06), RMSS was 9.47 (1.07), ILD was present in 52 (70.27%) patients, mMRC 2 (28,76%) or 1 (24,67%) were the most frequent dyspnea score, and current Raynaud in 32 (43.24%) patients. The Cochin was 13.36 (2.25), PHQ-9: 7.29 (0.75) and FACIT-F 32.59 (1.41). In the multivariable analysis presence of dyspnea by mMRC [B (SE)=0.206 (0.026-0.384); p=0.025]; higher results in Cochin questionnaire [B(SE)= 0.017 (0.009 - 0.025): p<0.001] and FACIT-F results [B(SE)= -0.018 (-0.031- -0.004)] were associated with higher SySQ scores (univariable and multivariable analysis are depicted in table 1)Conclusions In our SSc cohort, higher hand disability and presence of dyspnea were associated with lower QoL, by contrast less fatigue levels were associated with better results.Abstract P.312 Table 1",
