"abstract": "Background Subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIg) is established asequivalent to intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) in the maintenance of muscle strength and patient function in CIDP and is recommended among first line treatments in 2021EAN/PNS guidelines. SCIg is better tolerated than IVIg, increases patient compliance, autonomy, quality of life and can lead to cost savings. SCIg therapy can be delivered in the patients home, relieving pressure on overburdened NHS infusion centres and minimising loss of productivity for patients. However there is some geographical variation in access to this treatment option across the UK.Methods We developed a clinical practice guide through systematic review of the literature and consensus expert medical and nursing opinion according to AGREE II clinical guideline reporting checklist. Guidance is provided for patient selection and training, SCIg dosing and monitoring. Results The development of this clinical practice guide has ABN quality and safety committee endorsement and discussion of the proposed infographic at the ABN will be integrated into the final version as stakeholder feedback. Conclusion This document aims to provide information on SCIg treatment in inflammatory neuropathy and to act as a guideline for local service development within a national governance structure.coatesed@btinternet.com",
