  "abstract": "Objective This analysis used real-world data to assess treatment outcomes among people with migraine treated with rimegepant or triptans.Methods Patient and physician data were drawn from the 2022 Adelphi Migraine Disease Specific Programme™. Patients analyzed received rimegepant or triptans as acute monotherapy.Results Overall, 29/91 rimegepant users and 103/437 triptan users had patient-reported data. Physician-reported consistency of response was 73% for rimegepant and 57% for triptans. Patient-reported consistency of response was 76% for rimegepant and 63% for triptans. 87% and 62% of patients receiving rimegepant or triptans, respectively, reported treatment optimization. For rimegepant, 95% of physicians and 97% of patients reported satisfaction with current treatment. For triptans, 87% of physicians and 78% of patients reported satisfaction. Physician-reported reasons for choosing rimegepant or triptans included pain freedom at 2 hours (78% and 50%), rapid return to function (67% and 46%), prolonged pain relief (44% and 27%), no need for second dose (33% and 9%), efficacy in patients who failed prior acute medications (51% and 14%), lower risk of medication overuse headache (44% and 9%), and suitable for patients with CV risks (34% and 3%).Conclusions These data provide real-world evidence of the value of rimegepant for acute treatment of migraine.grant.oneil@pfizer.com",
