As a fourth-year medical student specialising in anaesthesia and resuscitation, I have trained across Gaza’s major health facilities—including Al-Shifa Hospital, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and Public Service (Al-Khidma Al-Amma) Hospital. There, I witnessed a reality where the fundamental principles of medical ethics are stretched to their breaking point. In these settings, anaesthesia has become a discipline of survival and improvisation.",
