  "abstract": "Atrial fibrillation (AF) and premature ventricular complexes (PVCs) are two of the most prevalent arrhythmias in the general population. It is not surprising that their prevalence increases further with longer monitoring durations and among patients with structural heart disease (SHD). The Coumel triangle—which includes three key components in arrhythmogenesis (the arrhythmogenic substrate, modulating factors and triggering factors)—may help explain why AF and PVCs frequently coexist in clinical practice. But it is unknown whether the link between them is causal or coincidental.",
