  "abstract": "A man in his 60s presented to the cardiac emergency department with a history of syncope. At presentation, he was alert and haemodynamically stable (blood pressure 188/102 mm Hg), with no chest pain or prior cardiac history. There was no history of any prior comorbidities. On examination, his heart rate was 25 beats per minute. His chest was clear and no murmur was found. Cardiac biomarkers and electrolytes were normal. Echocardiography showed preserved left ventricular function.",
