"abstract": "Introduction Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) is an established therapy for primary and secondary mitral regurgitation (MR) in patients with severe symptomatic MR at high or prohibitive surgical risk. We evaluated the procedural and in-hospital outcomes of TEER for MR at our centre. Methods Patients who underwent mitral valve (MV) TEER were prospectively identified. Baseline clinical and echocardiographic data, along with procedural and in-hospital outcomes, were recorded in a Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Valve Registry (Dendrite Clinical Systems). Results Between July 2013 and April 2025, 99 patients underwent MV TEER. Baseline patient characteristics are in table 1 and MR aetiology is shown in Abstract 80 Figure 1. A TEER device was successfully implanted in 92 (93%) patients. The Abbott MitraClip and Edwards Pascal systems were used in 53 (58%) and 39 (42%) cases, respectively. The median number of devices implanted per case was 1 (IQR: 1–2). An MR grade of ≤ +1 was achieved in 79 (86%) cases. Median hospital stay was 3 days (IQR: 3–3.75).One patient (1%) sustained TEER device-related anterior mitral leaflet trauma and was referred for elective mitral surgery. One (1%) in-hospital death occurred, unrelated to the procedure. Post-procedure, four patients (4%) had a leaflet detachment event. Partial leaflet detachment (PLD) of a single device occurred in three patients and was managed with a repeat MV TEER procedure. One patient had PLD of one device and complete leaflet detachment (CLD) of a second device that required surgical correction. The median follow-up duration was 1.6 years (IQR: 0.8–4.0). Kaplan-Meier estimated 1-year survival was 86% ± 4% (95% CI: 77–92) (image 1).Conclusion In this real-world experience, MV TEER showed high procedural success, low morbidity (1%), low in-hospital mortality (1%), and effective MR reduction, with an estimated 1-year survival of 86% in a high-risk cohort.Abstract 81 Table 1Baseline patient characteristics (N=99)Abstract 81 Figure 1MR aetiology, (%)Abstract 81 Image 1Kaplan-meier survival curve post mitral valve TEER",
