  "abstract": "Cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6i)—abemaciclib, ribociclib and palbociclib—have transformed the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer in both adjuvant and advanced settings. These agents are primarily metabolised via cytochrome P450 (CYP3A4), making pharmacokinetic interactions particularly relevant. However, breast cancer clinical guidelines do not prominently address potential interactions with herbal supplements, particularly curcumin (Curcuma longa), despite being among the five most commonly used natural products by women with breast cancer.1 Lee et al reported herbal supplement use during active treatment in 84% of breast cancer patients, with a mean of 3.1 supplements.2 In Spain, 65% of ambulatory oncology patients reported using complementary medicine more frequently among women with breast cancer; notably, 57.1% did not disclose this use to their physician.3",
