  "abstract": "Repackaging of medications is the process by which a drug is conditioned into a new container, ensuring its complete identification and reducing the need for further handling. This enables the repackaged medication to be administered to the patient at the physician’s prescribed dose. In hospital pharmacy services this repackaging activity is carried out to guarantee that the medication sent to hospital wards is delivered with full identification, including active ingredient, brand name, strength, batch number and expiration date, in line with the principles of traceability and patient safety.1 2",
