"abstract": "Vaccine hesitancy is on the rise and it is important clinicians are able to provide information clearly and correctly to address concerns raised. This article provides an evidence-based overview on communication strategies to address vaccine hesitant parents. It also runs through evidence-based answers on addressing common questions relating to vaccines such as 'overloading' the immune system, vaccine ingredients (aluminium, formaldehyde, thiomersal/thimerosal, gelatine, egg content), separate vaccines and the benefits of vaccines in addition to breastfeeding. Finally, readers are provided with useful resources for both themselves and parents to facilitate informed decision-making on immunisations.",
