  "abstract": "As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, a variety of burdens have arisen at different levels. These include the serious medical consequences, the social restrictions over a long period of time due to restrictions on freedom of movement and the closure of schools and businesses. From the beginning of 2020 to mid-2022, there was a heated and polarized atmosphere in Germany as well as in other countries, which has now largely subsided, but still has consequences that include not only medical and psychosocial issues, but also economic problems in particular.Of relevance to the medical field are the possible long-term consequences of Covid infections, which are characterized by different symptoms. In addition to the Post-Covid illness exist the post-vac(cination) disorder, which is understood to be a consequence of vaccination against the virus, has now also become established. In the case these various symptom constellations are very strong with a leading symptom of exhaustion they are bundled together in the concept of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue.These unclear clinical pictures are now the subject of intense debate, and not just in the narrower medical sector. Here too, there is a polarization between supporters of the organic medical understanding of the syndromes described as a long-term consequence of an infection with Covid-19 (Post- Covid) and more critical views that consider these phenomena to be psychosomatically based or assume other psychosocial motives. And these issues not only affect the medical profession and patients but are more or less of interest to society as a whole.These include, for example, the expectation of patients that they will receive support from their treating physicians, which includes appropriate diagnosis and treatment, as well as relief from work or private life through sick leave. Increasingly those affected are also being assessed on behalf of the statutory accident or pension insurance. The extent to which the possible compensation is a motive for these applications for compensation will certainly often vary.The fact that these diagnoses are also largely controversial within the medical profession means that patients who are convinced that they are suffering from Post- Covid or have suffered vaccine damage are very sensitive to the attitude and behavior of their doctor towards these problems. They often fear that they will be pushed into a ‘psycho corner’ or their doctor would assume that they would simulate their symptoms.We are primarily interested in how this problem manifests itself in the medical care system.In the seminar we plan to discuss these problems and in particular to work out possible solutions together. This would include ways in which the strained interaction can relax and both parties can work constructively with each other again.Objectives We offer a Seminar to the dysfunctional communication and interaction between the doctor and the patient under the actual problems of post-Covid-Syndrome and post-Vac. The etiology of both syndroms are very unclear and the concepts of the patients often differ from the concepts of their doctors. In this constellation a constructive interaction between doctor and patient is often difficulty and as a result the common planning of an appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic process is not possible.Method It is a seminar with a short introduction given by the presenters. And after this introduction the presenters will formulate some questions which should be discussed at first in smaller groups. And in a next step the result of these groups will be discussed in the whole group.Results The aim will be to develop a constructive way of interaction between the doctor and the patientConclusions The influence of public perspectives following the Covid-19 pandemic e.g. public and social media, politics and the medical sciences and practise and the heterogenous picture of the symptoms opens a wide range of different interpretations. Which foster a sensitive and empathetic approach from the doctors to motivate the patient to cooperate in the processes of diagnoses and therapy.",
