Yet the architecture of medical publishing continues to privilege perceived novelty over evidentiary durability and global relevance. Considerations in Medicine was relaunched with BMJ Group in August 2025 with a new mission and drive, aiming to address this imbalance by providing a venue for research that is methodologically rigorous, contextually grounded and clinically consequential, irrespective of novelty or anticipated citation impact.",
