  "abstract": "Background Having timely healthcare data helps make informed decisions. Power BI dashboards help health professionals stay updated on patient status, disease patterns, activity trends, and operational metrics in real time. These dashboards provide monitoring and reporting capabilities. This real-time view allows for rapid interventions that improve care and organisational performance. It was recognised that the reporting process within Saint Francis Hospice was manual and lengthy. Data was presented via Excel and emailed to users. There was no central access to see the reporting and paper copies were being printed. This led to out-of-date data being presented and expensive use of printing.Aims To develop improved data and expand our reach, strengthen our partnerships, enabling us to provide exceptional end-of-life care to more people across our communities in support of strategy. To ensure reporting is accessible to users. Trustees and all users to be able to access reports via the Intranet. Data to be presented in real time. To consolidate different data sources. Allow users to interact and interrogate data. Present data in a visual manner. To see trends and plan for the delivery of future care provision. Allow financial planning to support care alongside population growth. To track progress of strategic goals within the Business Plan.Method Our data analysts re-created core reports into Power BI. This is published on our internal Intranet. Service leads and trustees were trained to access and interact. Through user feedback and learning, improved strategic reports and dashboards were created.Results Reports from Power BI are being used in all areas across the organisations to report on our Key Performance Indicators.Conclusion Real time collaborative reports are now shared with colleagues across apps, sites, and workspaces.",
