  "abstract": "Background Meeting the information needs of parents and carers of children with palliative care needs is an essential part of care planning, whether at home, in hospital or in hospice settings. Navigating multiple sources of information can be overwhelming, so a dedicated digital platform helps streamline access to relevant guidance. The website is a dynamic site that features regularly updated links (resources, links to services and personal stories), a ‘Latest News’ section highlighting key updates, and new contributions from healthcare professionals addressing transition care, bereavement support and more. Additionally, the website has been optimised for accessibility, as well as mobile and tablet devices, to ensure ease of access for families using different platforms.Methods A working group comprising parents and families, healthcare professionals, sector representatives and more, guided the website’s update. The development process included focus groups with families, a survey of the public and heath professionals and direct feedback integration to enhance usability. These insights informed the updates that prioritised ease of navigation and accessibility across devices.Results Since its launch, the website has recorded over 3,700 views within five months, reflecting strong engagement from families and professionals alike. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with users appreciating the site’s structured access to essential resources. Importantly, user feedback revealed that most visitors accessed the platform via mobile and tablet devices, prompting optimisation efforts for seamless usability across these device types.Conclusion The updated website is a modern, accessible and user-focused resource shaped by collaboration across the island of Ireland. The steering group representing stakeholders from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland ensured content is relevant and helped inform short, medium and long-term plans for the website. Additionally, lessons learned from this project will influence future developments within the Palliative Hub suite, with potential applicability beyond the region.",
