  "abstract": "The NNEdPro-IANE 10th International Summit on Food, Nutrition & Health was held in Kolkata, India, from 17th to 20th December 2024, and provided a key platform to discuss the complex issues of global food and nutrition security. The overarching theme of the summit, “Democratising and Decolonising Food and Nutrition: From Science to Society,” programmatically acknowledged the need for equity, sustainability, and inclusivity in achieving ideal nutrition outcomes globally. The summit created inclusive discussions and interchanges of knowledge among a multidisciplinary set of stakeholders such as scientists, health workers, policymakers, teachers, and community activists alike, who share a common vision to reform food systems and provide equal access to wholesome food for everyone. The event served as a stimulus to practical strategies for dismantling structural obstacles and facilitating community led approaches that privilege local knowledge and cultural context in nutrition interventions. Since its launch in 2015, the NNEdPro International Summit on Food, Nutrition and Health has grown to become a world-class annual scientific conference.",
