  "abstract": "Background Medium to small vessel vasculitis is multisystem autoimmune mediated disorder that varies widely in clinical presentation and severity. Common presentation of vasculitis includes non-specific constitutional symptoms including fatigue, weight loss, fever, myalgia and arthralgia. Other more organ specific presentation includes glomerulonephritis, pulmonary granulomas and hemorrhage, recurrent sinusitis and mononeuritis multiplex.Although myalgia is commonly described as one of the constitutional symptoms of vasculitis, true immune mediated necrotizing inflammatory myositis (IMNM) are rare. However, cases where patients present with both neuropathy and myopathy without any other end organ involvement have only been described in several case reports. We present a case of a patient who presented with a subacute axonal neuropathy and myopathy secondary to polyarteritis nodosa.Learning points 1. understanding that PAN is a multisystem disorder and can involve multiple organs2. tissue biopsy from the correct site is crucial in making an accurate diagnosis to avoid delay in treatment3. discussion regarding therapy for PAN related neuropathy and myopathy",
