  "abstract": "This case report highlights two instances of radix entomolaris in primary teeth, a rare anatomical variation characterised by an additional distolingual root, typically seen in permanent molars. Both cases involved primary mandibular second molars, where the presence of this extra root was identified during routine clinical and radiographic examination. Recognising such variations is essential for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning, especially in paediatric endodontics. The findings underscore the importance of thorough radiographic evaluation and an understanding of root canal anatomy to ensure successful outcomes in treating primary teeth with unusual root structures.",
