"abstract": "Congenital gangrene in newborns is a rare condition characterised by tissue gangrene present at birth. It may result from intrauterine vascular compromise, birth trauma or clotting disorders. Early diagnosis and prompt management, including surgical intervention and supportive care, are critical to prevent severe complications and improve survival outcomes. We are reporting a case of congenital gangrene of the gluteal region in the newborn.",
