  "abstract": "Multiple evanescent white dot syndrome (MEWDS) is a rare, self-limiting retinal inflammatory disorder typically affecting young, healthy women and presenting unilaterally. Bilateral presentations are exceedingly rare and often asymmetrical. We report a unique case of bilateral MEWDS with symmetric retinal involvement and periphlebitis in an early adolescent patient. Multimodal imaging confirmed the diagnosis, and systemic workup excluded other inflammatory and infectious causes. The patient was observed without treatment and recovered fully. This report highlights the diagnostic importance of multimodal imaging and awareness of atypical MEWDS presentations in children.",
