"abstract": "A male in his early 30s presented with chest pain and difficulty in breathing and was diagnosed to have a mediastinal mass. On evaluation with hybrid FDG PET-CT imaging, the extent was limited to the mediastinum. Histopathological and immunohistochemistry analysis revealed seminoma. He received chemotherapy and the response was assessed with the FDG PET-CT study. The role of PET-CT hybrid imaging in the evaluation and treatment response assessment for mediastinal tumours is pivotal and is also valuable in the surgical and radiation treatment planning.",
