  "abstract": "A primigravida in her 3rd trimester experienced sudden vision loss. She underwent an emergency caesarean section due to pre-eclampsia, which was complicated by abruptio placentae, leading to fetal demise in the 32nd week of gestation. On examination, she was found to have hypertensive retinochoroidopathy with massive retinal and choroidal infarcts. Treatment with oral steroids resulted in gradual and partial visual recovery over 2 months.",
