Reported adverse effects include pain, inflammation, bruising, ptosis, lagophthalmos, facial paresis, asthenia, dysphagia, hoarseness and allergic reactions. 1 Immediate adverse effects include pain, inflammation and bruising, while long-term effects involve ptosis, lagophthalmos, facial paresis, muscular weakness, dysphagia, hoarseness, allergic responses, etc.2",
