"abstract": "A man in his late 30s was diagnosed with the right eye (RE) vitreoretinal lymphoma. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 20/200 in the right eye and 20/20 in the left eye. He was a known case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and had completed chemotherapy (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunomycin, oncovin, prednisone/R-CHOP) with remission 5 months ago. The patient was treated with twice-weekly intravitreal methotrexate (0.4 mg/0.1 mL) for the first month, followed by once weekly for the second month, followed by once-monthly injections for the next 2 months. Due to subnormal response to methotrexate, he was subsequently shifted to intravitreal rituximab injections. He received monthly intravitreal injections of rituximab (1 mg/0.1 mL) for 7 months, leading to complete resolution. As there is no formulation of methotrexate and rituximab available for intraocular use, the intravenous formulations of these drugs were used. BCVA improved to 20/30. However, the patient complained of dot-like floaters in the RE. On examination, multiple silicone oil (SO) droplets were seen in the anterior vitreous cavity ( Figure 1A, B). Informed consent has been obtained from the patient for the use of these images.",
