  "abstract": "Ahilya Noone (née Nehaul) was born and schooled in Guyana, then moved to the UK where she went to Badminton School in Bristol. She studied philosophy, physiology, and psychology before completing her clinical studies at Somerville College, Oxford. After working in district general and teaching hospitals she became a GP in London. She then studied for a masters in community medicine at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and her public health career took off.",
