  "abstract": "Bowie’s article rightly highlights that people aged over 75 remain disproportionately under-represented in research, despite the ageing population.1 A failure to include older adults—including those with multiple long term conditions, frailty, and cognitive impairment—in research limits the generalisability of findings. The resulting gaps in the evidence base for the care of these vulnerable groups risk worsening existing health inequalities.2",
