"abstract": "Pathologic myopia (PM) is a leading, traditionally irreversible cause of vision loss primarily managed through observation. This pilot case series explores repeated low-level red light (RLRL) therapy for PM. Two adult patients underwent twice-daily home-based RLRL sessions for 6 months. Preliminary observations revealed functional improvement in visual acuity for one patient, while the other demonstrated modest anatomical recovery, including reduced macular retinoschisis and slightly decreased axial length. These hypothesis-generating findings suggest RLRL might offer structural and functional benefits. However, rigorous future randomised controlled trials remain essential to validate its clinical efficacy.",
