  "abstract": "Reattendances to the Children’s Emergency Department (CED) represent an important quality measure and may highlight areas for service improvement.1 2 Numerous studies have attempted to understand why patients reattend (accepting that this is often due to excellent safety-netting, unavoidable deterioration or health inequalities) by surveying caregivers or ED clinicians.3 4 To our knowledge, however, direct comparison of caregiver and clinician perceptions of the same reattendance events is not reported.",
