  "abstract": "The Equality Act 2010 (EA 2010) makes it unlawful for clinical services to discriminate based on ‘protected characteristics’. These include age, race, gender, pregnancy, disability, religion, belief or sexual orientation. Although in contrast to the USA, the UK government explicitly decided against including ‘genetic discrimination’ within the categories of unlawful discrimination on the basis1 that it found no evidence of asymptomatic people being discriminated against based on genetic test results.",
